4 Tips to Banish Undereye Circles and Wrinkles

Because the eye area is so delicate, it’s one of the first areas on the face to show signs of aging. However, with prevention and the right makeup, you can maintain a bright, youthful and refreshed appearance.

  1. Prevention- I’m a big fan of retinol for preventing wrinkles and diminishing fine lines. Choose a product specially formulated for the eyes. I like RoC Retinol CORREXION Eye Cream $28.99
  2. Prep- Prep the eye area with a good moisturizer. Not only does a moisturized eye area help in the prevention of wrinkles, but it also helps concealer go on better.
  3. Conceal-  Choose a creamy concealer one shade lighter than your skin tone. My favorite is Clé de Peau Concealer $70. It’s pricey, but hands down the best concealer I’ve ever tried and it lasts forever.
  4. Set- After you apply your concealer, set it with a translucent powder. It helps make the concealer last longer and prevent it from settling into fine lines. Try Laura Mercier’s Secret Brightening Powder  $22. Make sure it’s blended really well. Because it contains a white pigment, it will show up in photos if not blended properly.
