Our Latest Obsession: Beauty For Real’s Illuminating Light Up Lip Gloss

24.3.12

I am such a huge fan of contraptions when it comes to makeup and this product really has me excited! We have all been in that dark elevator or poorly lit bathroom and tried looking in the mirror to put our makeup on and can’t see a thing! Beauty For Real has created their Illuminating Light Up Lip Gloss that is not only a fantastic gloss, but also has a light and a mirror right on the bottle! The mirror is large enough to actually see your whole mouth and the light is bright enough that you can really see your face in the dark (don’t shine it in your eye!).  The colors are delicious and the Spring 2012 shades are right on trend for the season with Don’t Stop Red and Go Nude.

The gloss shines beautifully and has great pigmentation. Don’t Stop Red is just red enough to add color to your lips, but is still transparent like gloss should be. Go Nude is the perfect color to keep your lips neutral, yet sexy when you are accentuating your eyes. The texture is thick, but not sticky and has a smooth warm sensation when you put it on.

These are a must have for your purse. They will most definitely come in handy when you find yourself in a situation with no mirror and poor lighting. Aside from the light and mirror, these are worth the investment for the gloss alone. I am a red lip addict and have been wearing the Don’t Stop Red since the day I got it. I feel just as fierce as I do with a full red lip, but it’s so much easier to apply! If you really love the lighted glosses, check out the mascara and nail polish they offer as well.

Beauty For Real’s Illuminating Light Up Lip Gloss can purchased at BeautyForReal.com. The suggested retail is $22 for 7.5 ml (great size!). If you are looking for a fun conversation starter with your girlfriends or just looking for a fantastic new lipgloss, check these out, you will love them!
