My Farewell to Neon Nails and an Introduction to Neutrals

04.6.12

After about 3 months of wearing nothing but bright, can’t miss, eye-blinding neon nail polish- I’m done. Maybe not for the whole summer, but I needed a change.  Neons were stealing my thunder—people noticed the nails first, then me. So I’m trying neutral.

wHet "nonchalant" ---love the discription...fits me to a T

It’s probably a good thing my love of brights is fading. Neutral nails were seen all over the Fall 2012 runways, from Marc Jacobs to Giorgio Armani.

Enter wHet’s “Nonchalant“. It’s like your natural nail color, but better. The application of the polish was fantastic–no streaks and one coat was perfect. I did two coats out of curiosity–still sheer, but added it little more color. The shine factor was a 10. #winning

Another added bonus? wHet (a new line launching this month) is  free of DBP, Formaldehyde and Toluene and works with other brands so you can mix and match and really get creative with your nails.

**confession: I haven’t totally given up on neons..just moved it to my toes. Toes rarely steal anyone’s thunder
