If there is one trend that hasn’t shown any sign of slowing down it’s braiding. What started with a simple side bride trend about 2 years ago, suddenly morphed into a cultural phenomenon of creative braiding.
Lucky for us, the pros are here to break down some of the more complicated braids for us. Amanda Egusquiza, one of the stylist from Eiji Salon, reveals how to do this gorgeous Hebi braid step-by-step:
The form of this braid is that it starts on either right or left side near the front hairline, and ends at the nape on the right or left side.
1st– Section off the entire head in three sections going horizontal first section being at the top second the middle the last section is the nape.
2nd– Grab three strands of hair at the hairline and start as a normal braid, as u braid grab strands make it tight against the head. Continue to the end and when you’re ready to enter the next section form a loop at the end and start braiding and grabbing head at the same time.
3rd– Continue to the end and make a loop into the nape. MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS HOLD THE HAIR TIGHT AGAINST THE HEAD!! Finish up the nape and when you are at the completed tighten and braid the hair normally all the way down till you’re ready to tie the braid.
To finish the look, mist the hair with Joico Design Collection Humidity Blocker to prevent hair frizz from the moisture in the air.
