If you just got the hang of contouring, I hate to be the be the bearer of bad news, but the makeup world has moved onto strobing. What’s strobing? Like contouring, it’s not a new concept or technique. Strobing is only using highlighter to accent the places where light naturally hits your face: the bridge of your nose, top of your cheek bones, brow bone, etc. You’re left with glowing, dewy looking skin. Perfect for the summer.
The key is to start with supple, moisturized skin. I then apply highlighter before foundation (using a stippling brush).
